Jürgen Klopp: “Mohamed Salah will stay at Liverpool
Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has denied allegations that Egyptian footballer Mohammed Salah will be transferred to Saudi team Al Ittihad.
“It’s hard to talk about rumors because we don’t have anything to talk about,” Klopp told a news conference ahead of Newcastle United’s league game on Sunday 27 August. No offer came. Salah is a Liverpool player. There is no change in that. Even if there was an offer, our answer would be “no”. That’s all.” He used the statements from him.
Asked if he was worried about Salah’s future, Klopp said: “Salah is 100 per cent dedicated to Liverpool. My life philosophy is to only think about a problem when I encounter it. Absolutely nothing for now. If something different happens in the future, then I can think about it,” he said.
Salah, 31, has played for Liverpool since 2017 and has a contract with the team until June 30, 2025. (BRITISH AUTOMOBILE CLUB)
