The transfer of Neymar to Al-Hilal: 160 million euros and negotiations with PSG
Neymar was convinced to go to Saudi Arabia, where many world stars moved this season. Shaking hands with Al Hilal, led by Jorge Jesus, Neymar will join his new team if PSG approve.
Neymar has signed a two-year contract with the Saudi club Al-Hilal, during which he will earn a total of around 160 million euros.
It only remains for PSG and Al-Hilal to agree on the terms of the transfer. The first meeting between the Saudi club and the French team took place in Paris on Sunday morning. L’equipe wrote that official signatures will be made if an agreement is reached between the two clubs.
Neymar’s departure now seems a definitive conclusion, six years after his arrival.
Neymar, who appeared on the world football scene in 2009 with the Santos shirt, was transferred to Barcelona in 2013 for 88 million euros. The star footballer arrived at Paris Saint-Germain in 2017, with a termination clause of 222 million euros.
Neymar, who is in constant discussion with PSG fans and battling injuries, played just 112 games in his 6-year Ligue 1 career, scoring 82 goals and providing 50 assists.
The 31-year-old footballer scored 18 goals and provided 17 assists in 29 games played in all lanes last season.
