Good news from Sergio Rico

Good news from Sergio Rico

Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Sergio Rico is expected to be released from hospital next week, almost three months after his fatal accident.

The 29-year-old was taken to Hospital Virgen del Rocío when he fell from a horse and hit his head on May 28 in his native Spain, and has been receiving treatment ever since. Rico, who underwent a series of medical operations due to his serious injuries and head trauma, was left under the control of doctors and specialists for special care.

WILL BE DISCHARGED THIS WEEK

While it was thought Rico would be able to leave the hospital sooner, his discharge was delayed due to complications. The Spanish goalkeeper’s family is waiting for the doctors to allow him to leave this week. This news was a great relief for his family, who has been with him since May.

After PSG clinched the Ligue 1 title in a 1-1 draw with Strasbourg on May 27, Rico headed to El Rocío, which featured a parade of dealers, horsemen and carriages in Almonte, in the city Andalusian from Huelva.
