PSG goalkeeper Donnarumma was tied up and injured by robbers

Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and his team mate were handcuffed and threatened with guns during a robbery of their Paris apartment. As a result of the attack, the attackers easily injured a footballer playing for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

The two were examined after the fact in the hospital, the girlfriend was not injured, French investigators said on Friday. The criminals escaped unnoticed. The damage is estimated at about 500,000 euros. Items stolen included watches, jewelry, and leather goods.

Several PSG players have been robbed in the past, including Presnel Kimpembe, Marquinhos, Thiago Silva and Angel Di Maria. In January, a Versailles court sentenced two men to prison terms for breaking into the home of Brazilian captain Marquinhos in 2021.
