Schmid, 25, completed his youth level at Basel and made his first appearance in the Super League in May 2017. Loans to Lausanne-Sport and Wil followed before Schmid moved to GC in 2020. He became the best player in Zurich and was called up to the national team for the first time in March. At FCB, he received a three-year contract.
Fink, 20, moved from Lucerne to Borussia Dortmund in 2019. Last season, he was signed by Basel, but mostly he had to be content with the role of the joker. He made 38 appearances last season, scoring six goals. GC does not have a purchase option.
