Aaron Ramsey is back home
England Championship team Cardiff City, managed by Erol Bulut, added Welsh soccer player Aaron Ramsey to their squad.
Cardiff City Club have announced the signing of 32-year-old midfielder Ramsey on a two-year contract.
Erol Bulut, whose views were included in the transfer announcement, said: “It’s a great day for us. Aaron started his career here and now he’s back to help us achieve our goals. Thanks to the owner of the club, Vincent Tan, and our president, Mehmet Dalman, for making this transfer possible. They have worked hard for the last 2-3 weeks. Aaron had a great career in the Premier League, Italy and France. He has now returned to his home in Cardiff. I hope his last years with us are great and that we can make our dreams come true.”
Ramsey started his professional career at Cardiff City and went on to play for Arsenal, Nottingham Forest, Juventus, Rangers and Nice.
Ramsey, who figures among the important values of Welsh football, played 34 games in Nice last season and contributed 1 goal and 3 assists. Ramsey played 82 times for the Wales National Team and scored 20 goals. (AA)
