Seferovic has been with Benfica since 2017 before being loaned out to Galatasaray Istanbul and Celta Vigo for six months each final season. The 31-year-old striker remained on a contract with the Portuguese for next season, with whom he was the top scorer of the 2018/19 season. Nothing is known about the amount of the transfer fee for the world champion under 17.

With his new adventure in the Emirates, Haris Seferovic was about to put an end to his international career. He made 93 appearances for the Swiss national team, for which he scored 25 goals. More recently, however, the storm has favored younger players such as Zeki Amduni under Murat Yakin.
