Debate on the rise in retirement in Parliament

DISCUSSION ON RETIREMENT

Usta also said the following regarding the bill submitted by the AKP to the Presidency of the Assembly, which includes economic rules;

*Our expectation here was that the salaries of all civil servants would increase by as much as the minimum pension. Although this could not be done, we can still say that an increase was made, which is actually not that bad.

*However, what we have to say here are retirees. Giving an increase now means that this will not reflect on retirees, the retiree increase will be 17.75 percent.

*Today, 80 percent of retirees already receive a salary from the lowest pension, so it is clear that there is a need for regulation regarding retirees.

SUPPORT FROM MHP to AKP

The vice president of the MHP Group, Muhammet Levent Bülbül, on the bill submitted by the AKP to the president of the Assembly, said: “The bill, which includes inflation determined in the salaries of civil servants, the inflation rate of 6 months, as well as an additional payment of TL 8,077 and an increase, has been presented to Parliament. In this way, we expect the lowest salary of civil servants to increase by 85 to 86 percent,” he said.

CRITICISM OF THE GREEN LEFT PARTY

The vice president of the YSP group, Meral Daniş Beştaş, also criticized the content of the bill.

CHP Group Vice President Ali Mahir Basarir, regarding the inflation rates announced by TUIK, said: “I wonder, where are those who work at TUIK, those who prepare these figures, those who give these live data, What country do you live in? Do they use another kitchen or another market? Do they drive, get in another car, take money from another bank, spend that money elsewhere? I am very curious. “The facts of society, of the workers, retirees, peasants and our youth, and their data do not coincide at all,” he said.

“PENSIONS ARE NOT IN ORGANISATION”

Basarir reminded that there is no new regulation for retirees in the bill regulating the lowest salary of civil servants as 22,000 TL and said, “Sayyanen, there is an additional increase, 8,000 TL. Why isn’t this retired? Do retirees and civil servants eat different things, have different cuisines, or live in a different place? In my opinion, this additional increase should definitely be given to retirees, because today the most oppressed are retirees,” he said.

AKP Group Vice President Muhammet Emin Akbaşoğlu emphasized that the AKP has fulfilled its promises before the elections and used the following statements;
