The transfer process gets complicated: Wilfried Zaha has signed with three different clubs, including Fenerbahçe
Wilfried Zaha signed with three different clubs.
The striker, whose contract with Crystal Palace expired at the end of June, is on free transfer status. However, Palace are still trying to persuade the 30-year-old Zaha, and have offered him a four-year contract worth £200,000 a week.
However, according to Sky Sports, Zaha has reached an agreement with Lazio, Fenerbahce and the Saudi team Al-Nassr. He now he must decide with which club he signs a contract.
Should he transfer to Lazio or Fenerbahce, Zaha is expected to compete in European football next season. He has reached an agreement with Lazio in the Champions League, second in Serie A, and Fenerbahçe, who will participate in the Conference League qualifying matches.
His other option could be to team up with Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia. In recent weeks, many soccer stars have moved to Saudi Arabia. These include Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante, Ruben Neves, Kalidou Koulibaly and Edouard Mendy.
ZAHA DOES NOT LOOK AT PALACE
As Palace continue to offer Zaha to renew her offer to stay at Selhurst Park, it seems the situation is getting more difficult with each passing day. According to the British media; Zaha is expected to join a new club for the first time in eight years.
On the other hand, Palace announced that Roy Hodgson will remain as coach next season. Hodgson, 75, returned to the Eagles after Patrick Vieira was sacked in March for poor form.
Despite a successful two-month run at the bottom of the league, Hodgson was thought to leave in the summer but will now remain in his role.
