Toprak Razgatlıoğlu on the podium in England
National motorcyclist Toprak Razgatlıoğlu finished the first race in England, the sixth stage of the World Superbike Championship, in second place.
Red Bull athlete Toprak started the race at Donnington Park Track in England from fourth pocket.
With the Pata Yamaha Prometeon team, Toprak took the podium after passing the checkered flag in second place in the hotly contested race.
Ducati rider Álvaro Bautista finished first and Kawasaki Racing rider Jonathan Rea finished third.
Toprak Razgatlıoğlu is second in the overall standings with 232 points, Ducati rider Alvaro Bautista is first with 323 points, Yamaha rider Andrea Locatelli is third with 161 points.
In the UK leg of the Superbike World Championship, superpole will take place at 15:00 CEST with the second race of the weekend taking place at 18:00. (AA)
