There have been rumors and writing for a long time, now officially: Betim Fazlidzhi (24) is returning to St. Gallen after a season at St. Pauli.
Fazligi signed a contract until 2027. It was decided not to disclose the terms of the transfer, it is estimated that St. Gallen transferred about 450,000 euros to St. Pauli.
“I am happy to be back with my green and white family. I can’t wait to play in front of our fans again for the first time,” says Fazligi.
Sporting director Alain Sutter says: “We are very pleased to have Betim back home and signing a long-term contract. He knows the organization very well and will quickly get used to it again.”
Fazligi joined St. Gallen in 2014 as a junior. Before the 2019/2020 season, he moved to the main team and played there regularly from the very beginning. In total, Fazligi played 87 league and nine cup games for Grunweis and one game in the European Cup.
Fazligi is the fourth move the Espen are presenting this week. On Monday, defender Justin Janicek was introduced, on Tuesday – striker Nikolai Möller and midfielder Mihailo Stevanovic.
