Chelsea found their striker in LaLiga! Bargain Star…

Chelsea signed Senegalese star Nicolas Jackson: here are the transfer details

Chelsea have signed Senegalese striker Nicolas Jackson. The 21-year-old scored 13 goals for Spanish club Villarreal last season and played twice for Senegal.

Jackson, who has scored nine goals in his last eight games, helped Villarreal finish fifth in La Liga.

According to reports from Athletic, Jackson was followed by Bournemouth and Southampton in January after making his international debut at the World Cup, but has now attracted the attention of a bigger club.

The news source claims that the young forward has ‘promised’ to join Stamford Bridge this summer and that the ‘Blues’ are preparing to agree to the Spanish club’s £30m transfer fee request.

The exciting young striker is seen as an alternative to Napoli star Victor Osimhen. Osimhen is expected to sell for more than £100m after ties with Manchester United, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.

New Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino will take over on July 1 to help the club bounce back after a poor season.

I spent MILLIONS BUT…

Despite Chelsea spending over £600m on a total of 18 players during the summer and winter transfer seasons, they are in the lower ranks for the first time since the 1995-96 season. However, they plan to invest heavily again, as former Tottenham manager Pochettino tries to restructure the club.

Chelsea need a forward and Kylian Mbappé could be in the lurch after a break with PSG. But the west London club is not expected to perform for the French star. This is because Mbappe’s price tag is expected to exceed £150m and he reportedly earns around £893,000 a week.

Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund is also a target, but is also being closely watched by Manchester United. Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic is another option.

For a club that does not want to increase its salary budget, which is already too high, Jackson could be a good addition as Pochettino seeks his way back to European football.
