Francesco Bagnaia continues to lead MotoGP
In the sixth stage of the MotoGP World Championship, the Italian Grand Prix, Ducati Lenovo rider Francesco Bagnaia competed in front of the audience.
In the most important motorcycle racing organization, the sixth fight of the season took place on the 5.2-kilometre Mugello track in Florence over 23 laps.
Starting the race on pole position, Bagnaia saw the checkered flag first and took his third MotoGP victory of the season and the 14th of his career.
Jorge Martín (Prima Pramac team), who crossed the finish line 1 second after Bagnaia, took second place and Johann Zarco (Prima Pramac), 1.9 seconds behind the leader, took third place.
Raising his score to 131, Bagnaia continued his lead in the drivers’ standings. The Italian driver was followed by his compatriot Marco Bezzecchi (Mooney VR46) with 110 points.
The seventh race of the season, the German Grand Prix, will take place on June 18.
