The proposal that confused Modric

Generous offer from Saudi Arabia to Real Madrid star Luka Modric

Experienced Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric is closely watched by Saudi Arabian teams and is about to receive a generous offer.

The Croatian midfielder’s contract, who joined Real Madrid in 2012, will expire at the end of June. Interest from Saudi Arabian teams began to mount in Modric, who negotiated a new contract with Real Madrid last month.

Former teammate Karim Benzema was transferred to Saudi Pro League champions Al-Ittihad last week, while Cristiano Ronaldo is the league’s biggest star.

However, Lionel Messi did not accept the deal and decided to go to MLS club Inter Miami, where he would earn £345 million a year. That means an ‘almost irrefutable’ offer will be made to Modric.

CAN FOLLOW BENZEMA

In the Arab media news, it was claimed that there are now great doubts about the 37-year-old’s future at Real Madrid and that the operation could be accelerated in the next few hours, just like the transfer of Benzema.

Despite his advanced age, Modric has remained a fundamental part of Ancelotti’s team, making 51 appearances in all competitions this season.

HE WENT TO MADRID 10 YEARS AGO

The 37-year-old has been very successful since arriving in the Spanish capital ten years ago on a £30m transfer from Tottenham.

He played 488 games for the club and won the League three times, the Champions League five times and the Copa del Rey twice. The possibility of Modric leaving could be a critical loss for Carlo Ancelotti’s team. However, the midfield position with names like Toni Kroos, Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga and Federico Valverde is quite rich.

BELLINGHAM IS ON THE WAY

The La Liga giant has also reached an agreement to transfer England player Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund.

Dortmund’s earnings from this transfer could rise to £113.5 million as a result of a transfer fee of £88.5 million and additional performance-based payments of £25 million. The deal is expected to be completed in the next few days.
