West Ham United, Conference League champions, beat Fiorentina

In the final of the UEFA Conference League, the Italian team Fiorentina and the English club West Ham United met. West Ham won the match 2-1 with a last minute goal and became the unbeaten champions.

The final played in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, was played in a tense atmosphere. In the first half of the match, Fiorentina captain Cristiano Biraghi was injured in the head by a bullet fired by a West Ham fan. After a short break, the game continued from where it left off, with the first half ending in a 0–0 draw.

Said Benrahma opened the curtain on the goal in the final on 62 minutes. The Algerian footballer converted his penalty into a goal and put West Ham in a 1-0 lead. However, the Italian team responded quickly to this goal. Giacomo Bonaventura, who did not waste the opportunity that he took in the penalty area when he was running in the 67th minute, was the name that made it 1-1.

Although the game was expected to go into extra time, Jarrod Bowen, who hung onto the back of the defense with Lucas Paquetá’s pass, won the trophy for West Ham United with his 90th-minute strike.

West Ham United, who have not lost a game in the Conference League this season, defeated Fiorentina 2-1 to become unbeaten champions. West Ham have won 12 of their 13 games in the Conference League, only drawing 1-1 with Gent in the first leg of the quarter-final.
