The Miami Heat are back against the Denver Nuggets in the NBA Finals Series
The Miami Heat defeated the Denver Nuggets 111-108 in the American Basketball League (NBA) Finals, bringing the series to 1-1.
Finishing top of the Western Conference in the regular season, the Nuggets hosted the Heat, who entered the play-offs from 8th place in the Eastern Conference, in Game 2 of the NBA Finals.
Starting the fourth quarter behind 83-75, the Heat won the game with the help of three-pointers with a 9-to-5 shooting rate and took the home field advantage.
Bam Adebayo led the Heat with 21 points, 9 rebounds, Jimmy Butler 21 points, 9 assists, and Gabe Vincent 23 points. Duncan Robinson recorded all 10 points in the final period.
Nuggets Serbian center Nikola Jokic was the most effective name on the field with 41 points and 11 rebounds. Jamal Murray also had a double-double with 18 points and 10 assists.
Games 3 and 4 of the series will be played on the Heat’s home court. (AA)
