Ilkay Gundogan made history with his goal in the 13th second of the FA Cup final
Manchester City’s German midfielder İlkay Gündoğan delivered a huge upset in the FA Cup final against Manchester United by scoring the fastest goal in tournament history after 13 seconds.
Early in the game at Wembley, the German midfielder hit a fantastic volley from outside the penalty area just as the game had just started, to the delight of the Manchester City fans.
Pep Guardiola’s team kicked off with Ilkay Gundogan. The German footballer of Turkish origin started the game by sending the ball to goalkeeper Stefan Ortega. Erling Haaland wanted to head the ball, which the City goalkeeper sent quickly forward.
However, when Manchester Unite defender Victor Lindelof tried to clear the ball, the ball bounced off Kevin de Bruyne. Hitting the oncoming ball without falling to the ground outside the penalty area, Gundogan brought the ball into the net from the top corner and scored a magnificent goal.
