Scandal in France! Bordeaux fan hospitalizes rival player
The match between Bordeaux and Rodez in the French Ligue 2 was interrupted after fans entered the field and physically assaulted the player.
On matchday 38 and the last of the league, Bordeaux, with the aim of being promoted to Ligue 1, received Rodez at the Matmut Atlantique Stadium, who took the field to stay in the group.
In the 22nd minute of the game, critical for both teams, Lucas Buades, who was playing for the invited team, shook the net and exposed himself to physical intervention from the fans while celebrating a goal.

The match official, Nicolás Rainville, canceled the match due to Buades’ concussion and the impossibility of taking adequate security measures in the stands.
Bourdeux would have been promoted to Ligue 1 if he had won the match on four different occasions. Rodez, for his part, needed to win the game to stay in the league.
The French Football Federation will announce its decision on the match on Monday, June 5.
