Season 22/23 of the Superleague is coming to an end. The final games of the season will take place on Monday. FC St. Gallen then hosts FC Sion at their home ground. However, Espen will not appear in their usual Blitz look, but in a special jersey, according to a statement made on Thursday.
Die-hard FCSG fans will notice at a glance that the jersey has familiar patterns. The shirt is a tribute to the T-shirts of the past 15 years. It combines the patterns and hallmarks of past jerseys in a special design.
There are two reasons for this. On the one hand, FC St. Gallen has been playing in Kibunpark for 15 years. Secondly, since 2008 Espens has been equipped by sports goods manufacturer Jako. However, the partnership ends at the end of the season. From next season, FC St. Gallen will wear Puma jerseys.
FC St. Gallen wore Jako jerseys for the first time in 2008:
The special t-shirt is now available in the fan shop and online.
