The stampede at the soccer game! Fake ticket caused atrocities
In El Salvador, 12 people have been killed and hundreds injured in a stampede that broke out after soccer fans tried to enter the stadium.
According to the BBC report, a stampede occurred after many fans tried to enter the Estadio Cuscatlán after the gates had been closed.
According to the first determinations, it was revealed that the crowding in the stands was due to the fact that many fans entered the stands with false tickets and that the fans who could not enter the game despite having tickets went through the turnstiles of the stadium and threw themselves inside.
According to initial reports, 12 people lost their lives in the stampede and hundreds of people, including children and women, were injured.
Although first aid was provided to the injured on the field, it was reported that the condition of some of them who were taken to the hospital is critical.
President Nayib Bukele said a “comprehensive investigation” into the incident would be launched.
