It was learned that German coach Christoph Daum, who had coached Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe and Bursaspor in Turkey, was taken to intensive care.

According to the news on the German television channel RTL, the 69-year-old technician, who had been undergoing treatment for cancer for some time, was transferred to intensive care in New York. Christoph Daum, whom the channel tried to contact for an interview, said: “Unfortunately, I am currently in intensive care in a hospital in New York. That is why it is impossible for me to talk to you at this moment, ”he said.

Christoph Daum won the Super League twice with Fenerbahçe and once with Beşiktaş from Turkey. The German coach has a Turkish Cup championship with Beşiktaş in his Turkish career.
