ManU is ready to break the record for him!

Manchester United could break their own record for Gonçalo Ramos

Missing their old days in the English Premier League, Manchester United are preparing a club-record-breaking offer for Benfica striker Gonçalo Ramos, according to reports in the country’s press.

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag wants a pure 9 in the offensive line.

The Dutch coach put the 21-year-old Portuguese forward on the list due to the lack of form and condition of Anthony Martial, who could not make the explosion expected for years, which Wout Weghorst on loan could not follow, and Marcus Rashford preferred to play on the side left.

ATTRACT ATTENTION AT THE WORLD CUP

Ramos has scored 17 Primeira Liga goals this season and 25 goals in all lanes.

The 21-year-old replaced veteran superstar Cristiano Ronaldo at the World Cup in Qatar and turned in an impressive performance scoring a hat-trick in the round of 16 against Switzerland.

IT CAN BE A RECORD AFTER POGBA

According to British press reports, the Red Devils are willing to raise up to £100m to sign Ramos. That figure would be a club record after Manchester United paid £89m for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba in 2016.
