Boston Celtics even series against Philadelphia 76ers

In the conference semifinals of the American Basketball League (NBA) playoff round, the Boston Celtics defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 121-87 to take the series 1-1.

The NBA play-offs continued with a single game. In the second game of the Eastern Conference semifinals, the Celtics, with the help of their good defense especially in the third period, beat the Sixers by 34 points to clinch their first win of the series.

For the Celtics, Jaylen Brown had 25 points and 4 assists, Malcolm Brogdon 23 points and 6 rebounds, Marcus Smart 15 points and 5 rebounds, Derrick White 15 points, Grant Williams 12 points, 4 rebounds and assists.

Sixers star Joel Embiid, who was selected as the regular season MVP for the first time in his career, finished the game with 15 points and 5 blocks after returning from injury. Tobias Harris had 16 points and 7 rebounds, Tyrese Maxey 13 points, James Harden 12 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists Furkan Korkmaz, the national player who played 5 minutes on the field, played with 2 points.

Game 3 of the series will be played on Saturday, May 6 at the Sixers home court. (AA)
