Leeds announce new manager

Leeds United appoint Sam Allardyce

Javi Gracia was fired as manager of Leeds United, one of the teams in the English Premier League, and Sam Allardyce was replaced by him.

In the statement issued by the club, it was reported that the Spanish Gracia, who was appointed 10 weeks ago, and Zigor Aranalde, Mikel Antia and Juan Solla, who were part of the coaching staff, were fired due to poor results.

Gracia will be replaced by English coach Sam Allardyce, 68. Fighting to stay in relegation in 17th place with 30 points, the experienced Leeds United manager will lead the team in the remaining 4 games of the season.

Allardyce, who coached the England National Team in 2016, played for many clubs such as Newcastle United, Blackburn Rovers, West Ham United, Sunderland, Crystal Palace, Everton, West Bromwich Albion in his club career. (AA)
