Curry made history, led Warriors to the semifinals

Stephen Curry led the Golden State Warriors to the semifinals in the game that made history

Defeating the Sacramento Kings 120-100 in the first round of the NBA play-offs, the Golden State Warriors won the series 4-3 and advanced to the conference semifinals.

The NBA play-offs continued with 2 games. The defending champion Warriors defeated the Kings to face the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference semifinals.

Stephen Curry, who produced 50 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists, led the Warriors to victory. The 35-year-old Curry had the most points in his playoff career and was also recorded as the player who scored the most points in Game 7 of a playoff series.

Andrew Wiggins chipped in 17 points, 7 rebounds, and Kevon Looney chipped in 11 points and 21 rebounds.

Domantas Sabonis for the Kings had 22 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, De’Aaron Fox, who played with a broken hand in three games, had 16 points and 6 assists.

THE HEAT WINS AT KNICKS AWAY

Despite entering the Eastern Conference play-offs from the back row, the Miami Heat eliminated the regular-season leader Milwaukee Bucks and began the conference semifinals with a win.

The Heat, who beat the New York Knicks 108-101, took a 1-0 series lead and took advantage of home court advantage.

Jimmy Butler had 25 points, 11 rebounds, Kyle Lowry had 18 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds, 4 blocks, and Gabe Vincent had 20 points and 5 assists for the Heat.

On the Knicks front, RJ Barrett’s 26 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and Jalen Brunson’s 25 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds could not prevent defeat. (AA)
