The Euroleague announces penalties for the Real Madrid-Partizan match
The EuroLeague Independent Disciplinary Committee has announced the sanctions imposed on the Real Madrid and Partizan players who fought in the two games of the play-off quarterfinals. The Euroleague fined both teams 50,000 euros each.
Although the statement indicated that the appeal route was closed, Real Madrid player Guerschon Yabusele, who knocked down Dante Exum with a wrestling move, was suspended for 5 matches. Partizan player Kevin Punter 2, Real Madrid player Gabriel Deck and Partizan player Matthias Lessort were also banned for 1 game each.
