In the statement made by the club, it was indicated that the paths separated by mutual agreement after the meetings with García and his coaching staff, and the 59-year-old coach was thanked for his contributions to the team.

Croatian coach Dinko Jelicic, who coaches the club’s under-19 team, was appointed as Garcia’s temporary replacement.

According to reports in the Saudi press, the tensions in the relationship between Ronaldo, who joined the squad at the beginning of the year, and the French coach García, made themselves felt in this separation.

Al-Nassr, who amassed 53 points in 23 league games under Garcia, who took over 8 months ago, sits in second place, 3 points behind Ittihad. Ronaldo, who played 12 games in all lanes representing Saudi Arabia, shook the rival nets on 11 occasions.
