Real Madrid gain advantage over Chelsea

The first legs of the Champions League quarter-finals ended with two games played today.

Real Madrid, the last champion of the Champions League, welcomed Chelsea, one of the English Premier League teams, at the Santiago Bernabéu. The home team ended the first half winning 1-0 with French striker Karim Benzema’s goal in the 22nd minute. Chelsea’s Ben Chilwell saw the red card in the 59th minute, leaving his team down to 10 players. The Spanish team made it 2-0 on the scoreboard with Marco Asensio’s goal in the 74th minute. Real Madrid won 2-0 from the field when there was no other goal in the game.

In this match, the second leg will be played on Tuesday, April 18 at 22:00 CEST at Stamford Bridge.

MILAN WON TWO ITALIAN TEAMS

Milan, two Italian teams, hosted Napoli at the San Siro. Milan finished the first half up 1-0 with Ismael Bennacer’s goal in the 40th minute. In the away team, Frank Zambo Anguissa saw the second yellow card in the 74th minute and left his team down to 10 players. With no goals to be heard in the remaining time, Milan led 1-0 from the field.
