Historic offer from Saudi Arabia to José Mourinho

According to Corriere dello Sport, José Mourinho was offered a two-year contract and an annual salary of 60 million euros for his role in the Saudi Arabian national team. The Portuguese coach will have the opportunity to terminate the contract after the first season or extend his contract until the 2026 World Cup, which will take place in the United States.

Italian media reports claimed that Mourinho had a strong link with Roma supporters, but was unable to agree a new contract with management.

Mourinho, who wants a striker, a midfielder and a defender for the new season, has not yet been able to sit down with the Roma coaches.
