Erling Haaland removed from the team

Star footballer Erling Haaland, who plays for Manchester City, one of the English Premier League teams, has been withdrawn from the Norwegian national team due to injury.

The treatment of the 22-year-old striker, who was removed from the squad, will continue in England.

In the statement from the Norwegian Football Association, it was indicated that Haaland, who injured his groin during last weekend’s FA Cup match between Manchester City and Burnley, underwent a health check at the camp of the national team.

The footballer, whose pain continues, will not be able to play in the UEFA European Championship 2024 (EURO 2024) Qualifying, when Norway will play Spain on Saturday 25 March and Georgia on Tuesday 28 March.
