Slaven Bilic sacked from Watford

The Watford British Championship teams have announced that Croatian manager Slaven Bilic has been sacked and replaced by Chris Wilder.

In the statement issued by the club, it was indicated that due to the unsuccessful results, Bilic, 54, and his technical team, who were appointed as coaches in September, parted ways.

The England representative will be managed by Chris Wilder, 55, until the end of the season. The English coach last served at Middlesbrough last year.

Watford have only one win in their last 8 league games under Bilic. The representative of England is in ninth place in the league with 51 points.

Bilic, who was the manager of BeÅŸiktaÅŸ between the 2013-2015 seasons, coached Hajduk Split, Lokomotiv Moscow, West Ham United, El-Ittihad, West Bromwich Albion and Beijing Guoan, as well as the Croatian National Team.
