Ten Super League clubs have sold 1,381,645 tickets for their home matches in the previous 105 games, the Swiss Football League (SFL) announced on Friday. This corresponds to an average of 13,159 fans per game during the first 21 rounds. “historical” value.

Young Boys Bern can expect the biggest increase (3,390 extra fans, club record 28,211 fans, four sold-out home games). Winterthur also contributed to the success story: “So far, in its first season since returning to the top flight after 37 years, Zurich has hosted an average of 8,155 fans at its home stadium, the Schützenwiese, with six out of eleven games sold out.” Compared to relegated Lausanne, there are 3,089 fans per home game.
In the European comparison, the Super League is in 8th place in terms of the number of fans – the “big five” with Germany, England, Spain, Italy and France, as well as the Netherlands and Scotland top the table.
