Defeated Sevilla at home

The Sevilla team from Spain, Fenerbahce’s rival in the UEFA Europa League round of 16, lost 3-2 to Osasuna in the match they played in the domestic league.

Sevilla hosted Osasuna on matchday 23 of the Spanish Football First League (LaLiga) and lost the mutual duel of goals. Osasuna, who took the lead with David García’s goal in the 18th minute of the game, closed the first half with a 1-0 lead. In the second half, Sevilla equalized with Serbian footballer Nemanja Gudelj in the 63rd minute, but lost again with an own goal from Fernando Reges just 4 minutes later. The rojiblancos leveled the score again with a goal from Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri on 78′. Moroccan footballer Abdessamad Ezzalzouli scored the goal that gave Osasuna 3 points, one of the strongest teams in the League this season, in the 85th minute.

Sevilla, who added their 10th defeat in the League, remained in 14th place with 25 points, while Osasuna rose to 7th place with 33 points. (AA)
