Milan tied in series

On matchday 24 of the Italian Football First League (Serie A), Milan beat Atalanta 2-0.

In the match played at the San Siro Stadium in Milan, the two ambitious league teams shared their trump cards. Milan won 2–0 with an own goal by Atalanta goalkeeper Juan Musso in the 26th minute and a goal by Junior Messias in the 86th minute.

With Atalanta’s victory, the red and black team won their third consecutive game in the league and increased their score to 47, leveling their points with Inter in second place. There is an 18-point difference between Milan’s league leaders Napoli.

Atalanta, which closed the week without points, remained in 6th place with 41 points.

Meanwhile, veteran Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, 41, came on for Olivier Giroud in the 74th minute in this match for the first time this season after 9 months of injury. At the same time as today’s game, İbrahimovic became the “oldest player” to play in Serie A when the three-point system was applied.
