Lillard gave a historic performance in the game where the Blazers, who were competing to qualify for the Western Conference play-offs, defeated the Rockets by 17 points.
Completing the game with 71 points, including 13 three-pointers, 6 rebounds and assists, the 32-year-old played a prominent role in the Blazers’ 29th win of the season and broke many records. Damian Lillard, who showed the first performance in the NBA where they exceeded 70+ points, 5+ rebounds, 5+ assists and 10+ three-pointers, reached the second most three-pointers in a game. Lillard, who became the eighth player to pass the 70-point threshold in NBA history, broke club and career records.
