The NBA continued with 7 games. The Eastern Conference-leading Boston Celtics defeated the conference’s third-place Philadelphia 76ers 110-107 on a last-second 3-pointer by Jayson Tatum.
The Celtics’ Jayson Tatum put his team ahead with a 3-point field goal with 1.3 seconds left. Joel Embiid of the 76ers brought the ball from his own court to the opponent’s basket in the last second of the game, but this basket was not counted as timeout.
For the Boston Celtics, Tatum finished the game with 18 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists. Jaylen Brown scored 26 points and Derrick White scored 18 for the Celtics.
On the 76ers, Embiid couldn’t avoid defeat even though he finished the game with 41 points and 12 rebounds with a “double-double.”
James Harden had 21 points and Tobias Harris had 19 for the Philadelphia 76ers.
Furkan Korkmaz, the national basketball player for the 76ers, did not have time to play.
