Borussia Dortmund joins the race for the summit

Borussia Dortmund, one of the teams in the First German Football League (Bundesliga), defeated Hertha Berlin 4-1 at home. National footballer Salih Özcan in the Borussia Dortmund team and Tolga Ciğerci in Herhta Berlin started the game in the starting 11, Salih Özcan stayed in the game for 65 minutes and Tolga Ciğerci stayed in the game for 79 minutes.

The yellow-blacks welcomed Hertha Berlin at Signal Iduna Park on matchday 21 of the Bundesliga. Borussia Dortmund finished the first half up 2-0 with goals from Karim Adeyemi in the 27th minute and Donyell Malen in the 32nd minute. Early in the second half, Hertha Berlin made it 2-1 with Lucas Tousart sending the ball into the net in the 47th minute. Borussia Dortmund scored 2 more goals with Marco Reus in the 76th minute and Julian Brandt in the 90th minute and won the match 4–1.

Borussia Dortmund, with its sixth consecutive league victory, increased its score to 43. With the same points as the leader Bayern Munich, the yellow-black team rose to second place with an average and became a partner in the top race .

Union Berlin, on the other hand, made a goalless draw with Schalke 04, increasing their score to 43 and slipping back to 3rd place.

Hertha Berlin is 17th with 17 points, while Schalke 04 is 18th with 13 points. (AA)
