Real Madrid in the final

The 2022 Club World Cup, attended by the champions of 6 FIFA-affiliated confederations and a local quota team, continued with the Real Madrid-El-Ehli semifinal match.

While the Egyptian representative reduced the difference to one with Ali Maaloul’s penalty goal in minute 65′ , Real Madrid could not benefit from the penalty shootout with Luka Modric on 87′. Rodrygo and Sergio Arribas made it 4-1 with the goals they found in extra time, and with this score the match ended.

In the other match of the semifinals, the representative of Saudi Arabia Al-Hilal, who defeated the Brazilian team Flamengo 3-2, advanced to the final.

The final match between Real Madrid and Al-Hilal of the 2022 FIFA Club World Cup will be played at the Principe Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat on Saturday, February 11. (AA)
