LeBron James beat two names in one night

LeBron James, who made a “triple-double” in the Los Angeles Lakers defeating the New York Knicks 129-123 in overtime, became the 4th player with the most assists in NBA history.

The NBA continued with 5 games. LeBron James led the Lakers to their 24th win of the season with 28 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists en route to the Knicks. James, 38, managed to become the first player to make a “triple-double” among players who spent their 20th season in the NBA.

James, who produced 10,338 career assists, passed Mark Jackson (10,334) and Steve Nash (10,335) for the players with the most assists in league history. Star basketball player John Stockton (15,806), Jason Kidd (12,91) and Chris Paul (11,246) ranked 4th.

Also, reaching 38,299 career points, James has 89 points left to surpass Kerim Abdulcabbar (38,387), the NBA’s top scorer in regular seasons.

For his part, Anthony Davis contributed to the victory with 27 points, 9 rebounds, and Rui Hachimura with 19 points and 9 rebounds against the Knicks.

Jalen Brunson scored 37 points and Julius Randle scored 23 points for the Knicks, who suffered their 25th loss this season.
