LeBron’s historic performance on his 38th birthday

NBA LeBron James scores 47 points on his 38th birthday

In the American Basketball League (NBA), the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Atlanta Hawks 130-121 in the game where star player LeBron James scored 47 points.

The NBA continued with 9 games. The Lakers earned the Hawks road win on James’ 38th birthday. James, who produced 47 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists, reached the highest score of the season for himself.

James entered NBA records as the fourth player to pass the 45-point threshold after age 38. Michael Jordan, Kerim Abdulcabbar and Jamal Crawford have done this before. Thomas Bryant had 19 points, 17 rebounds, and Russell Westbrook had a “double double” with 14 points, 11 assists and 8 rebounds for the Lakers, where 6 names produced double-digit scores.

Trae Young had 29 points, 8 assists and Dejounte Murray had 20 points, 9 assists and 7 rebounds for the Hawks.

JOKIC SHOW IN DECEMBER

Sharing the Western Conference top spot with the New Orleans Pelicans, the Denver Nuggets defeated the Miami Heat 124-119 at home. While 8 players scored in double figures in the Nuggets, Nikola Jokic, who made a “triple double” with 19 points, 12 rebounds, 12 assists, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who scored 20 points, took the lead.

Voted the regular season’s Most Valuable Player for the past two years, Jokic averaged 29.2 points, 12.3 rebounds and 10.1 assists on 60.4 percent shooting from the field in 14 games in December. The Serbian center thus became the second player after Wilt Chamberlain (February and March 1968) to have a 60 percent hit rate and an average of “triple double” in a month in which he played at least 10 games.

On the Heat front, Tyler Herro’s 26 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and Bam Adebayo’s 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 steals were not enough to win.
