Christmas games in the NBA are awesome

The NBA continued with 5 games. In the fight that concerns the summit of the Eastern Conference, the leader Boston Celtics won the game 139-118 in which they received their closest follower, the Milwaukee Bucks.

Jayson Tatum, who had 41 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals, and Jaylen Brown, who had 29 points and 5 rebounds, led the Celtics to victory.

Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 27 points, 9 rebounds and Jrue Holiday’s 23 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds in Bucks could not prevent defeat.

JOKIC’S TRIPLE DOUBLE

The game between the Denver Nuggets and the Phoenix Suns, who were fighting for the leadership in the Western Conference, was the scene of great controversy. The host Nuggets won 128-125 in 2 overtimes.

Conference leader Nuggets star player Nikola Jokic scored a “triple double” that is rare in NBA history with 41 points, 15 rebounds and 15 assists. The Serbian center became the third player after Oscar Robertson (1961, 1962) and James Harden (2016) to score 40 points, 15 rebounds and 15 assists in a single game.

Aaron Gordon had 28 points, 13 rebounds and Jamal Murray had 26 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists as the Nuggets posted their 4th straight win.

Landry Shamet had 31 points, 6 assists, Deandre Ayton 22 points, 16 rebounds and Chris Paul 17 points and 16 assists for the Suns.

On the other hand, Devin Booker, the Suns’ star guard, who was unable to play for 3 games due to a groin injury, left the field in the first quarter due to increasing pain.

DONCIC AND MADERA DESTROY LAKERS

The Dallas Mavericks honored German basketball player Dirk Nowitzki, who starred in the club’s only NBA championship in 2011, in which he played for 21 seasons, by erecting a statue.

The Mavericks won the game over the Los Angeles Lakers 124-115 after the statue was unveiled in front of the gym.

For the Mavericks, Luka Doncic had 32 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists, Christian Wood 30 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, 4 steals, and Tim Hardaway had 26 points and 6 rebounds.

LeBron James tried to keep his team alive with 38 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the Lakers’ 4-game losing streak.
