Eczacıbaşı will play the first match of the FIVB Women’s Club World Championship

The 2022 International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) Women’s Club World Championship will kick off tomorrow in Antalya. According to the statement of the Turkish Volleyball Federation, Eczacıbaşı Dynavit and the CEV Champions League champion VakıfBank will represent Turkey as host in the organization that will be held from December 14 to 18.

Eczacıbaşı Dynavit will face Dentil Praia Clube from Brazil tomorrow in Group A, and VakıfBank will face Kuanysh Club from Kazakhstan in Group B.

Eczacıbaşı Dynavit will play in Group A with Prosecco Doc Imoco Conegliano from Italy and Dentil Praia Clube from Brazil, while VakıfBank will play in Group B with Kuanysh Club from Kazakhstan and Gerdau Minas from Brazil.

After the matches to be played in the group stage, the teams that occupy the first two places on the scoreboard will advance to the semifinals and will be paired crosswise.

The semifinals will be played on Saturday, December 17 and the finals on Sunday, December 18.

Turkey, which will host the Women’s Club World Championship, which has been organized by the FIVB since 1991, for the second time in a row won the championship seven times, second place twice and third place five times in the women’s category. .
