The Turkish derby in the NBA went to overtime twice!

The Houston Rockets defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 132-123 in the game where national players Alperen Şengün and Furkan Korkmaz met in the American Basketball League (NBA).

The NBA continued with 8 games. Rockets, played by Alperen, hosted Furkan’s team, the 76ers. The Rockets won overtime twice with scores of 108-108 and 117-117.

Jalen Green, who had 27 points and 7 assists on the Rockets, where 6 players produced double-digit scores, and Kevin Porter, who struggled with 24 points and 6 rebounds, came to the fore. Alperen also contributed 8 points and 8 rebounds.

Joel Embiid’s 39 points and 7 rebounds and Tobias Harris’ 27 points and 3 steals couldn’t prevent the 76ers’ defeat.

76ers star point guard James Harden, who returned to form after 14 games due to injury, produced 21 points and 7 assists. Furkan scored 3 points.

LEONARD AND GEORGE WIN

Los Angeles Clippers star players Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, who were unable to play for more than two weeks due to injuries, returned to the field against the Charlotte Hornets. Leonard 21 and George stepped onto the court for the first time since November 19.

The Clippers beat the Hornets 119-117 on Leonard’s layup with 1.4 seconds left.

Leonard, the hero of the game, played an important role in the victory with 16 points, 6 rebounds, George with 19 points, 7 assists, and John Wall with 12 points, 12 assists and 5 rebounds.

Up front for the Hornets, Kelly Oubre had 28 points, 7 rebounds, PJ Washington had 26 points, and Terry Rozier had 22 points, 8 assists, and 5 rebounds.

THE CELTICS LEADER DEFEATS THE RAPTORS

The Boston Celtics, who have the highest winning percentage in the league, defeated the Toronto Raptors 116-110 and got their 20th win in their 25th game.

Jayson Tatum had 31 points, 12 rebounds, Jaylen Brown had 22 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists and Marcus Smart had 18 points and 7 assists for the Celtics.

For the host Raptors, Pascal Siakam had 29 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, Scottie Barnes 21 points, 7 rebounds and Gary Trent 20 points.
