World Cup atmosphere heats up in Qatar

Fans showed great interest in the first group stage matches of the 2022 FIFA World Cup held in Qatar.

The high audience rating of the competitions held in the first 5 days of the tournament, which was held for the first time in a Middle Eastern country, drew attention. In 16 games played in 8 groups, the public filled 94 percent of the stands.

In the tournament where more than 3 million tickets were sold, the highest number of spectators was reached in the Brazil-Serbia match so far. 88,103 fans watched the game played at the Lusail Stadium, where the champion will also be determined.

Fans from many countries show great interest in the festival grounds and at matches. Notably, 98,000 fans visited the FIFA Fan Festival at Al Bidda Park in one day.

Free concerts are organized for fans who can watch the games on a giant screen in festival areas set up at many points. Fans in these areas have the opportunity to participate in various activities for free.

EXCITED SURPRISE RESULTS
