One goal was enough for Lazio in the Rome derby
In the capital derby played on matchday 13 of the Italian Serie A, Lazio beat Roma 1-0. In the match that Roma received at the Olympic Stadium, the invited Lazio took a 1-0 lead in the 29th minute when Felipe Anderson did not forgive the error of local defender Roger Ibáñez.
In the second half, Roma was loaded with goals, but Lazio’s defense did not allow their rival to score and the match ended with this score. At the end of the match, the Lazio team celebrated the victory with their supporters.
With this result, Lazio increased its score to 27 and placed in 3rd place in the table, 8 points behind the leader Napoli.
Roma, who suffered their fourth league loss this season, held on to 25 points and slipped back to fifth place.
For his part, Zeki Çelik, a national footballer in the Roma squad, was involved in the derby fight, which began on the bench, at the beginning of the second half. Çelik replaced Gianluca Mancini in the 46th minute and struggled for 45 minutes.
