A man was arrested Saturday evening after allegedly firing multiple shots from the top of an apartment complex in Marina del Rey, scaring neighbors and prompting a major emergency response effort.

No one was injured as a result of the heavy gunfire, which was sprayed onto the streets along the 4100 block of Via Marina, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
An arrest was made after 911 calls came in about relentless gunfire in the affluent coastal neighborhood of Los Angeles after 10 p.m. The suspect, whose name has not been released, is in custody and an investigation is underway, the LA County Sheriff’s Department said.
According to City News Service, it appeared the shooter had posted a live stream of the incident. Those videos appear to have been removed from the internet.

SWAT-style armored vehicles responded to the active shooting scene and closed the streets in the Via Marina neighborhood late Saturday night.
