An emergency order has been issued in The Hague over the farmers’ protest previously announced by the Farmers Defense Force (FDF). “People who want to operate tractors and trucks in The Hague are not welcome,” reports the municipality. Police say three locomotives were “directed to a parking lot” from the Brouwersgracht in The Hague
FDF leader Mark van den Oever said earlier he expected thousands. He invited them to come to the city with tractors. The exact location of the protest will not be shared by FDF until later. The failed agricultural consultation will be debated in the House of Representatives on Thursday.
A28 near Zwolle
About twenty tractors are currently circulating on the A28 near Zwolle. Rijkswaterstaat asks other road users to be very careful, as tractors drive slower than other traffic. The tractors are probably headed for The Hague.
