All of Yosemite Valley will reopen ahead of schedule on Sunday after flooding concerns failed to materialize, park officials said.
The valley is open on Sundays from 7am to 8pm
terribly
limited services available, park officials said. Most of the valley was closed Friday night
because of because of
a forecast of high temperatures and floods.
Parts of the park were originally expected to be closed by mid-week as a snowmelt flood caused the normally calm Merced River to burst its banks.
But this weekend’s flooding has turned out to be less than expected. The valley is
now
is expected to fully reopen with all services at 7 a.m. Monday, park officials said.
