Former LA County Supervisor Gloria Molina is battling terminal cancer

Longtime Los Angeles County supervisor and pioneering Latina politician Gloria Molina announced Tuesday that she is battling terminal cancer.
In a Facebook post, 74-year-old Molina wrote that the cancer, which she says she has been living with for three years, is “very aggressive”.
“I have lived a long, fulfilling and beautiful life,” Molina wrote in the post. “I am truly grateful to everyone in my life and proud of my family, career, mi gente and the work we have done on behalf of our community.”
Molina said she appreciated it

professionals who cared for her at City of Hope, a cancer center.
“I have a wonderful and caring family, wonderful friends and worked with dedicated colleagues and a loyal team,” she wrote. “All my life I have had the support of many people.”
