Natural gas rate announced for December
Petroleum Pipelines Inc. (BOTAŞ) reported that no changes were made to gas sales rates for residential and industrial subscribers and for electricity generation purposes as of December.
According to the tariff table published on the BOTAŞ website, the natural gas tariff for residential and industrial subscribers, which will take effect in December, and the electricity production tariff remained constant.
Consequently, the sales price that BOTAŞ will apply to distribution companies for residential consumers in December was announced at 4.80 lira per 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas.
The tariff for industrial subscribers was set at 8,549 lira per 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas for stage 1 and 11,374 lira for stage 2.
In the electricity production tariff, the price of 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas was announced at 12,000 lira.
Natural gas price rates are calculated monthly.
In the announcement on the institution’s website, “According to the prices of the Domestic Energy Price Index (HEPI), our country still has the lowest natural gas price among European countries after Ukraine.” The expression was used. (AA)
